1. Interpretation of Indonesian unity and regional characteristics
The understanding of unity as part of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia can be traced to the third and fourth paragraphs of the preamble of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia 1945. The third paragraph contains the declaration of independence of the nation of Indonesia. Indonesia and the fourth contains a statement that after the declaration of independence, the government of the state of Indonesia was first formed to regulate and govern the people of Indonesia. It further states that the duty of the Indonesian government is to protect the entire nation and the blood spilled by Indonesia, promote the general public and educate the life of the nation, and participate in maintaining the general welfare and education of the nation. in addition to maintaining the observance of free laws.
